For nearly 20 years, Eli Review has helped build critical thinking skills by making feedback, reflection, and revision central to the learning process. In that time, we’ve seen countless ed tech trends come and go, and through all of those changes, Eli Review has remained relevant because of its core belief:
Meaningful learning is deeply human work.
Today, we’re introducing a completely new version of Eli Review. This version modernizes the platform, making Eli faster, more flexible, more reliable, and far better suited to the ways instructors and students work today. That includes long requested improvements such as mobile support, notifications, and other key enhancements. But this rebuild is more than just adding new features.
The new Eli doubles down on human judgment as the foundation of effective learning. It expands Eli beyond traditional peer review workflows to support richer cycles of feedback, reflection, and revision, helping instructors better understand not just final submissions, but how student thinking develops over time. It also gives instructors better visibility into engagement and learning patterns, helping them see where students are thriving, where they may need support, and how to respond more effectively.
As education is increasingly shaped by automation and AI, Eli Review is investing in human judgment, human connection, and human-centered learning. We believe technology should help instructors see more clearly, respond more thoughtfully, and create more opportunities for deep engagement with other people and ideas, not replace the people at the center of the learning process.
