Eli Review Learning Resources

Revision Tasks Snapshot

Revision tasks have two parts:

  1. Revision plans hold students accountable for using peer feedback by encouraging them to prioritize and reflect on the comments they’ve received, and this tutorial for students explains the steps. Instructors can give writers feedback on their plans, coaching the thinking students do between drafts.

Anne has prioritized her peers’ comment and explained to the instructor how she will apply this suggestion. Her instructor has replied to provide additional guidance.

Resubmissions allow students to submit a revised version of their draft for more peer feedback or as a final draft.

Resubmissions are new writing tasks that are linked to the original writing task.
